well, houston we have a problem! today after i woke up from my post work nap...my 4-track died...may it rest in peace. no really, i turned it on and then it started to make all these funny sounds and what not so i took it apart to see if i could fix it and well, i must say after a year and half's work i'd figured that it would die..it's recorded two or three albums worth of music and took many falls too..so yeah well recording the album will be put on hold for a few months while i save enough money to buy a new 4-track...maybe an 8 track but we'll see...so sorry though...anyway the tracklist is  up the site and the album will be out in august so yeah anywho...later folks. ~ justin

 

 

 

 

 

 

3-3-04       "it's a faster growing breed"

the recording process is taking much longer than expected so the album wont be out intill early june or late may. sorry these things take time. I would rather spend 100 years recording one great song then to give out 1000 crap songs. anyway, the first look at the album is availible at acidplanet.com

the song is called it's all your fault. it's rather long though i thought about shorting it up but it just wouldent be right you know? but also that's the only one you'll hear intill the album is out so any a weird way it's almost like an unoffical single. anyway the album is almost 55 percent done so im expecting at least 1 till maybe even two more months intill it's finished. I have other work to do so it's hard to find the right time to record and what not but have no fear it will be out someday soon. well, later everyone. ~Justin

sorry for the lack of writing..I had a well deserved vaction from work for the weekend. so far, one song done, 11 more to go. I hoping to have an april release for the album. thats if i do one song a week as planned..let's see if it works out. anyway, I finally finished off a song now called. "take time to find". my girlfriend called it beautiful and stunning.it's one of those softers that makes people cry and such. anyway thats it for now..back to the lab.

I just laid down some guitar tracks for a song that dosen't have a name..yet.It went well. I'm doing the "musician" approach and recording music first..then vocals. so far it's making things easier. I hope to get all the music and vocals done by friday afternoon..and a song title by next year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2-1-04                 "tut tut looks like rain"

greetings everyone, it's raining here in martinez. of course here i am stuck inside feeling a little bit under the weather but i'm sure things will slowly improve. well, right i'm under pre-production for the album. mainly i'm im stuck in a little tiny room figuring out what sounds good, what levels go where? and what sucks. so i'm hoping for to start recording guitar tracks in a week. so thats it for now...time to watch the super bowl and pass out in my bed and wake up tomorrow and do nothing but play music.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1-27-04                           "like breathing faster"

 

writing reality is never easy when it's your own. but some progress is being made. right now i'm writing for the first album.my first album which i will finally call my own because it will be without the support of friends.it's not like i dont like my friends writing music with me.it's just good to write something of own work.it's gonna be great to whatch this grow and finally get it released and done.i would feel like a proud parent.kinda like watching a baby grow.anyway i hope to be recording in feburary. the site will be in martinez, california of course.well i'll explain more when i get to recording the album..offically.
